1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ANITA ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms you may not access or use the Service. The Service is provided by ANITA. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ANITA.

2. Description of the service

ANITA is a personal finance assistant that helps you track income and expenses through natural language chat, voice input, manual data entry, and optional connected bank feeds (via Stripe Financial Connections). The app allows you to record transactions, view analytics and spending patterns, set financial goals and budgets, and receive AI-generated insights and suggestions based on the data you provide. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use it for any business or commercial purpose without ANITA's prior written agreement.

3. Not financial, legal, or tax advice - important disclaimer

ANITA is not a financial advisor, bank, broker, investment firm, or regulated financial institution. The Service does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in the Service or in any output generated by the app (including AI-generated text, suggestions, or analyses) constitutes professional advice of any kind. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and for obtaining advice from qualified professionals when you need it.

4. AI-generated content - disclaimer and limitations

AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. ANITA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. Any suggestions or insights are for informational and educational purposes only and are not professional advice. You assume all risk for decisions made based on AI output.

5. User accounts and responsibilities

To use certain features you must create an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for lawful use of the Service. ANITA may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Financial data and your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. If you connect bank accounts, institution-provided data may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, reclassified, or unavailable. ANITA is not responsible for outages, delays, or incorrect source data from third parties.

7. Connected account access (Stripe Financial Connections)

If you connect a bank account, you authorize ANITA and its providers to access and process the account data you permit through the connection flow. Revoking access stops future data pulls but does not automatically delete data already stored in ANITA. ANITA does not store your online banking credentials.

8. Privacy and collection of information

Your use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, features, design, and branding are owned by ANITA or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Service availability and changes

ANITA does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANITA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid in the prior twelve months or USD 100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ANITA and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

ANITA may suspend or terminate access at any time. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ANITA operates, without regard to conflict of law rules.

16. Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms together with the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and ANITA regarding the Service.
